Did you know about Leonardo da Vinci’s fascination with the electric guitar? Recently, new drawings or manuscripts were discovered…

Recent, unconfirmed reports suggest that in addition to the Vitruvian Man drawing, Leonardo da Vinci also drew another image — of a man with an electric guitar. There is much evidence to suggest that the drawing of the guitar within a circle and square is also the work of this great master. The original is heavily guarded and its location is unknown. If these reports were to be confirmed, it would reveal that the history of the electric guitar began not in the 20th century as previously believed, but several hundred years earlier. As one can easily imagine, this would be a major sensation and an inconvenient fact for the biggest guitar manufacturers in the world, who have presented themselves as pioneers in this market for several decades!

The Vitruvian Man  is a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci that portrays a man with outstretched arms and legs fitting into a circle and a square. This drawing became a symbol of human body proportions and was inspired by the writings of Vitruvius, a Roman architect and engineer also known as Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. The term “Vitruvian” referring to the drawing comes from Vitruvius, who in his work “De architectura” described the principles of proportion in architecture and their relationship to the human body. Leonardo da Vinci was inspired by these principles and created a drawing of a man inscribed in a circle and a square, which became a symbol of proportion and harmony in the human body and in art.
